My name is Ben Myers. I graduated with my Ph. D. from Southern Illinois University in 2007 with emphases in performance studies and ethnographic research. My research interests are religious ritual, metaphor, and surveillance studies. At USC Upstate I teach theories and principles of human communication, senior seminar, organizational communication, performance studies, surveillance and communication, as well as several other courses.

My name is Desiree Rowe and I graduated with my PhD in 2009 from the Hugh Downs School of Human Communication at Arizona State University. My work is at the intersections of performance studies and critical rhetoric. I am especially interested in radical rhetoric and activists, affect and the body, and performances of violence. I teach rhetorical theory and methods, intercultural communication, research methods, and lots of other stuff.
